Comprehensive Packaging Solutions for Ceramics

Ensuring the integrity of ceramic products during transport, especially over long distances, is crucial. The SHJLPACK packaging line is specifically engineered to provide a complete, reliable solution, offering maximum mechanical strength and protection against atmospheric agents. This integrated system combines several key processes: horizontal strapping, vertical strapping, hooding, and heat shrinking.

Key Stages of the Packaging Process

The line operates through a series of automated steps to secure and protect ceramic packs:

  1. Horizontal Strapping with Compaction: The process begins with horizontal strapping. An automatic horizontal strapping machine, such as the SH-R60P model capable of compacting packages up to 600 kg using its unique technology, positions the strap around the pack. Compaction is vital as it removes air and stabilizes the load, preparing it for subsequent steps and transit challenges. This step ensures immediate load stability.

  2. Vertical Strapping for Pallet Securement: Next, a vertical strapping machine, like the SH-R80, secures the load to the pallet. Utilizing a rotary table and a bayonet system, it efficiently launches the strap underneath the pack and pallet, creating a strong link. This vertical strapping prevents shifting and provides essential stability, particularly important for heavy and potentially fragile ceramic stacks. It can work with both PET and PP strapping bands.

  3. Protective Hooding: To shield the ceramic packs from environmental factors like moisture, dust, and UV rays, a hooding machine is integrated into the line. This machine prepares and precisely positions a tubular film hood over the packages. It is designed to adapt to varying package heights, ensuring complete coverage and protection.

  4. Uniform Heat Shrinking: The final stage involves heat shrinking the applied film hood. This is typically performed by a heat shrinking oven, such as the SH-G120, equipped with burners that provide a consistent and carefully proportioned heat flow. This uniform heat treatment shrinks the film tightly around the pack and pallet, guaranteeing maximum mechanical strength and creating a sealed barrier. This process is effective even with films of minimum thickness, providing reliable stability and weather protection for long transports.

Integrated System Benefits

By combining these processes, the SHJLPACK line delivers multiple benefits for ceramic manufacturers and distributors:

  • Enhanced Load Stability: Compaction and multi-directional strapping drastically reduce load movement.
  • Superior Protection: Hooding and heat shrinking create a weather-resistant barrier.
  • Reliability in Transport: The robust packaging withstands the stresses of complex logistics and long-distance journeys.
  • Efficiency: The automated line streamlines the packaging process.
  • Adaptability: Handles varying pack sizes and works with different strapping materials.

This integrated packaging line represents a robust solution for the ceramic sector, ensuring products are securely packed, protected, and ready for transport, minimizing damage risks and maximizing delivery reliability.
