- Product Positioning: Products enter the machine on a dedicated conveyor. They must be centered crosswise and stopped precisely under the hooding unit. An electronic control system is integrated to prevent collisions with the product, even if it has protrusions or is irregularly shaped.
- Hood Preparation: This phase occurs in the upper section of the machine and can overlap with the new product's arrival, minimizing cycle time impact.
- Special rollers unwind the stretch film from the reel.
- An optional external reading system can automatically determine hood size to optimize film consumption.
- A welding and cutting unit prepares the individual hood.
