Integrated Packaging Solution
Effective end-of-line packaging is crucial for ensuring products reach their destination securely. This packaging line is specifically designed to provide a combined solution, integrating two essential processes: strapping and wrapping. By combining these steps into a single, automated line, it streamlines operations, improves efficiency, and enhances load integrity.
The system is particularly well-suited for packaging paper, recycled cardboard, corrugated cardboard, and flexible packaging, addressing the unique challenges of these materials, such as stabilizing compressible loads.
Key Components
The packaging line comprises two primary machines working in sequence:
1. Vertical Compression Strapping Machine
This initial stage uses a robust vertical strapping machine. Its main function is to apply tensioned straps around the package while simultaneously applying compression. This is especially beneficial for compressible products like cardboard or paper, as it stabilizes the load, removes air, and reduces the overall volume, leading to more stable pallets and potentially lower shipping costs.
- Model Reference: Based on materials provided, this machine is similar to the SH-99.
- Features:
- Vertical strapping application.
- Integrated compression press.
- Equipped with 2 strapping heads for efficiency and potentially higher speed or redundancy.
- Optimized for stabilizing compressible materials.
2. Automatic Rotating Ring Wrapping Machine
Following strapping, the package moves to the wrapping stage. This machine utilizes a rotating ring system, known for its speed and ability to wrap unstable or lightweight loads effectively. The rotating ring moves around the stationary or moving load, applying stretch film to protect against dust, moisture, and shifting during transport.
- Model Reference: Based on materials provided, this machine is similar to the SH-aturno.
- Features:
- Rotating ring technology for continuous, high-speed wrapping.
- Designed for maximum efficiency.
- Capable of quickly wrapping products with variable sizes.
- Provides protection and load containment.
How the Line Works
Packages, typically palletized goods, are first conveyed to the vertical strapping machine. Here, compression is applied, and straps are automatically tensioned and sealed around the load, securing layers and reducing volume. The strapped load then proceeds to the rotating ring wrapping machine. The wrapping machine applies stretch film around the load, rotating efficiently to create a protective and unitizing layer, completing the packaging process.
This integrated approach ensures that packages are both tightly bound for stability (strapping) and protected from external elements and further unitized (wrapping) in a single, seamless operation.
